Monday, November 02 -- What have I done this time? Well if ya didn't already know, lots
of shit. So much shit that I aint in the mood to write a bunch here, hehe.
Real quick, Optimized images on the members profiles page for faster loading,
and slowed them down so the page doesn't overwhelm you with it's activity so much.
Also added ERROR-911 to the members page.
Welcome back bud, glad to have ya playin with us again!
Also, for those who didn't notice, I added that kickass little watermark to all the
pages so you can easily get back to the home page from wherever.
I did this for another reason besides just appearances, mainly to avoid having
to do frames, which I think are too constricted on the lower resolutions
many of my visitors use. For those of you not using Internet Explorer 4.01
to view this site, shame on you, you're missin out, but Netscape has just released
a new version 4.5 which can do all the things IE4 can do.
That should be great news for all you netscape lovers out there.
And anybody not using the latest versions of the browsers I STRONGLY URGE YOU TO UPGRADE.
It's free, and it allows all the latest new HTML techniques to work for you.
So just do it. Like I said, I did other shit but aint in the mood to write a book.

APP WORKS AGAIN AND BETTER THAN BEFORE. NOW I HAVE SOME TIME TO PLAY WITH OTHER SHIT

Couple small improvements today. I have improved both Mine and The CRUX's member page, check it out, I think you'll like the improvement. They are best viewed with IE4 but will work in Netscape 4 as well. Be sure to give the images and JAVA a chance to load. Also I have posted our most recent kill shots with a couple nice pics in there as well as a little showing of what we do with cheap ass imposters, namely Predator. We don't imposter you, don't do it to us. Get a life, don't try and leech off of ours.
Tha Man has given me some hacks to post so you will see those in the next day or two. Haven't received too many apps, so for those of you who want to apply but haven't, don't be afraid, it can't hurt you and you ain't gonna get anywhere without it.

Talk about a monster pain in the ass, I just spent 3 hours renaming files and editing HTML code to match so that this site will work the same in both Internet Explorer 4.0 and Netscape Navigator 4.0. And when you've got over a hundred kill pics to rename, to call it a tedious chore would be an incredible understatement. All I can say is you Netscape lovers owe me big time, because I don't use the damn browser so all that work I just did was basically for you.

Besides posting the application, I cleaned the HTML of all the pages which took me a couple hours to do. Found a couple mistakes, made a few visual enhancements, and basically just optimized all the HTML code. Some of it, mainly the hacks page, was a real mess. Look for me to overhaul the links page next and to make an enhancement on the members roster. Hopefully along with the screen shot I will include a few words about each member by each member, as well as some of our favorite screen shots. Also before the day is out there should be some new sounds on the roster page so that each member has a unique one. If any of you were wondering there is a hell of a lot of shit that goes into building a site like this, the only ones I've seen that are equal or better is Smidge's and Dan Yenko's, both of whom are very good at HTML. So if you think you can do better than I have, first ask yourself if you can open up these pages in Notepad, comprehend what was done and find where you think there is room for improvement, and then implement those improvements using Notepad. If after you have done that you still feel you have room to criticize, then by all means go ahead and do so.

APPLICATION IS UP. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK YOU WILL BE ABLE TO FILL IT OUT AND THE NEXT DAY BE A PART OF BVA, I'M SORRY TO DISAPPOINT YOU BUT THAT IS NOT HOW IT WILL WORK. WE HAVE ALWAYS AND WILL ALWAYS TAKE A LOT OF TIME IN CONSIDERING NEW MEMBERS. ALL THIS APPLICATION DOES IS GIVE US SOMETHING TO HELP EVALUATE PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS. IF WE GET AN APPLICATION WE LIKE, WE WILL STILL TAKE OUR TIME TO MAKE OUR CONSIDERATIONS. PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE. BVA IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE, WE INTEND ON CONTINUING ON THROUGH INTERSTATE 82 AND BEYOND. IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BE A MEMBER OF THE BEST INTERSTATE GANG, SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION, AND PATIENTLY WAIT FOR US TO RESPOND. I AM OF COURSE IN NO WAY GUARANTEEING A RESPONSE. I EXPECT TO GET A VERY LARGE NUMBER OF APPLICANTS, OUT OF WHICH WE MAY CHOOOSE ONE OR TWO OR NO NEW MEMBERS. I HOPE WE FIND SOME GOOD PLAYERS THROUGH THIS, BUT I AM NOT COUNTING ON ANYTHING. NOR SHOULD YOU. TAKE YOUR TIME IN FILING OUT THE INFO, AND DO SO WITH THE UTMOST HONESTY. THE THINGS YOU THINK MATTER TO US ARE MOST LIKELY NOT WHAT WE FEEL IS MOST IMPORTANT. DO NOT THINK YOU NEED TO SAY YOU'VE BEEN HACKING FOR OVER A YEAR TO BE CONSIDERED. I MYSELF HAVE BEEN PLAYING I76 FOR OVER A YEAR BUT HAVE ONLY BEEN HACKING FOR A LITTLE OVER A SIX MONTHS. CONSIDER YOUR ANSWERS CAREFULLY, AS THE SAYING GOES, YOU NEVER GET A SECOND CHANCE TO MAKE A FIRST IMPRESSION. GOOD LUCK.
